Clean guesthouse with friendly hosts

We got great value for our money at Eco Salient View. The room was clean, comfortable, and had hot showers and cozy blankets. The location is perfect for climbers as it's close to Ella's Rock. The staff were friendly, cute, and always made sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

We had a fantastic stay at Eco Salient View Bed & Breakfast. the family who runs the place was incredibly friendly and made us feel like friends from the moment we arrived. the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. the location, although a 15-minute walk uphill from town, offered stunning views that more than made up for the effort. If you prefer, there's always the option to take a tuktuk. the host was amazing and went out of their way to help us arrange a tuktuk for an early morning excursion. We also enjoyed complimentary coffee and tea during our stay. the nearby laundry service and Siyapatha Hut restaurant, where locals prepare a delicious rice and curry specifically for you, were added bonuses. the guest house served as an excellent starting point for our trek to Ella Rock. We highly recommend Eco Salient View Bed & Breakfast for a pleasant and memorable stay.

The value for money at this guesthouse was excellent, and the room wasnice and neat. The location was perfect for us, away from the noise of the town but still easily accessible. The staff were friendly and were great too make sure we had a great stay.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

had a wonderful stay at a cozy family-run hotel in Ella. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel like friends. The homemade Sri Lankan food was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains from the room was breathtaking.

Nestled in the mountains, this guesthouse offers stunning views of the surroundings. It is conveniently located, only a short walk to the city center or train station. The rooms are comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing stay. The friendly owners go above and beyond, even assisting with train tickets. Breakfast is delightful, with special Sri Lankan dishes prepared upon request. Guests with children will appreciate the opportunity for their little ones to play in the vicinity of the house.
There can be some noise from the main road, so be mindful of this while staying.
